I would like to tell you all a little bit more about the best three months of my life.
This summer I went to a small place at the French Côte d’Azur, called Anthéor to do my internship and it was definitely an experience I will never ever forget. I worked in the service department of a small family run hotel, with a bunch of great people that became close friends over those three months. And making new friends is only one of the reasons I can recommend doing an internship in a foreign country.
In my time over there I learned so much, not only about working life, but more so about friendship and myself. I think a work experience like that changes you in a way you can only understand if you’ve experienced it yourself.
For me, doing my internship in France was the best decision I’ve ever made. So to anyone who still has doubts about going abroad: It’s more or less a once in a lifetime chance and you definitely wouldn’t regret taking it.
